Shoreline Redlands, Redland Bay

Project Role: CEO Client: Shoreline Redlands Shoreline Redlands is a complete self-contained $2 billion master planned seaside township located in Redland Bay, South East Queensland. Previously nominated as rural under the SEQ planning scheme, Chris and his team successfully converted and designed the development from a rural use into an urban use which covers 280 hectares of land. Shoreline comprises, 4000 homes and apartments for 10,000 people, a town centre, restaurants, tavern, school, community centre and sporting fields with 2.2km of foreshore park linked by 70 hectares of open space corridors. It comprises over $400million investment in infrastructure, creating 1500 FTE jobs per annum during the 15 year construction phase.

LINQ Precinct Sheldon College

Project Role: Project Director Client: Sheldon College Board The LINQ Precinct is a $45m re-development of the northern precinct of the College campus. The main building consists of multimedia suites, studios, lecture theatre, 360 degree retractable indoor/outdoor theatre, business centre, robotic, science labs, observatory platform and tech facilities. This design introduces a universtity model into the College well in advance of traditional education models. Added to this are tournament tennis facilities, new covered pools, cafe's and production theatres. All new infrastructure connects the new precinct via 15km of fibre and redundant proof ICT network server centres, backed by HV ringmains 1500kva and 1000kva substations with switching. Aquisition of the surrounding land assisted in complementing the whole campus with new traffic management roads, pathways, lighting and parking facilitites which were designed for safer articulation of the College, reduce waiting times and overloading the external road networks for the College.

Yungaba, Kangaroo Point

Project Role: State Manager Client: Australand A $160m development located in the inner city suburb of Kangaroo Point spanning 1.917 hectares. The development incorporates the four elements of history, water, garden and making it Brisbane’s most unique inner city apartment development.
  • Stage 2B: Restoration of the historic double storey Yungaba House - 10 luxury apartments (direct cost $8.5m on hold)
  • Stage 2A: The Promontory Building – 8 level, 68 apartments (direct costs $26m completed).
  • Stage 3: The Arbors South Building – 8 level, 45 apartments (design development phase on hold)
  • Stage 4: The Arbors North Building – 8 level, 44 apartments. (design development phase on hold)
  • Stage 1A: Public River Walk including civil works, infrastructure , Riverfront Café , Recreational facilities including 25m lap pool, outdoor entertaining area & BBQ facilities (direct costs $6.4m completed).
  • Stage 1B: Multicultural Centre - three storey, 200 seat auditorium (direct costs $5.4m plus FFE fit out $1.2m completed).

Runaway Lagoons, Coombabah

Poject Role: State Manager Client: Australand A $158 million development finalist at the 2008 UDIA Awards of Excellence in the category of Large-Medium Density Development. Masterplanned around a central lagoon and incorporating Runaway Lagoons and the privately gated community titled developments -Laguna Collection & Montego Residences.
  • Montego Residences – double storey waterfront & water precinct homes.
  • Laguna Collection – double & single storey waterfront & water precinct homes.
  • All stages completed early 2011.

Solito, Carindale

A $100 million residential estate occupying approximately 4.1 hectares in Carindale. One of the most unique developments to the area and to Brisbane, offering something for everyone with a number of different living styles. A national flagship development for sustainability, including total storm water management, use of sustainable building materials and ensuring the bio-diversity of the nearby creek and parklands
  • North Tower – 42 apartments.
  • Central Tower – 36 apartments.
  • South Tower – 30 apartments.
  • City Homes – 100 detached and attached 2 & 3 storey homes.
  • All stages completed in 2010.

Hamilton Reach, Hamilton

Project Role: State Manager Client: Australand A $400 million development situated in the suburb of Hamilton inside the Northshore Urban Land Development Area (ULDA). The Hamilton Reach masterplan is low –medium density development buildings not exceeding 10 storey’s. Upon completion Hamilton Reach will comprise 600 residential dwellings in a mix of terrace homes, river homes and apartments.
  • Stage 1: Watermarque North & South buildings – 5 storey, 78 apartments. (direct cost $26m design complete)
  • Stage 3: The Green Quarter - 12 terrace homes. (direct costs $5.8m design to complete)
  • Stage 2: Watermarque on the Park building – 5 storey, 74 apartments (direct costs $17m design phase)
  • Stage 1A: Hamilton Reach Sales Office (direct costs $1.95m plus $300k fit out completed)

Cova, Hope Island

Project Role: State Manager Client: Australand A $600 million residential estate surrounding a central marina, offering direct access to the Broadwater. Cova is situated on Hope Island on the Gold Coast, just 16 km from Surfers Paradise. The site stretched along over 1.5 km of water frontage and will comprise mixed use housing including:
  • Homes – 28 single and ddouble storey homes.
  • Land only Allotments.
  • Marina berths will also be available for residents to purchase.
  • Cova Information & Sales Centre.
  • Club Cova Recreational Centre.

The Springs, Augustine Heights

Poject Role: State Manager Client: Australand The Springs Estate at Augustine Heights incorporates built form within a masterplanned $120 million estate. The site is 21.9 hectares in size featuring parkland, playground and entertainment amenities. Ultimately the site will comprise approximately 288 allotments.Land only sites ranging in size from 375 to 675sqm.
  • 20 all-inclusive architecturally designed house and land packages.
  • All built form completed early 2011

Hillcroft, Belmont

Project Role: State Manager Client: Australand A $65 million South Brisbane residential estate located 12kms east of the Brisbane CBD in Belmont. A complete masterplanned community incorporating parkland and family orientated amenities.
  • 123 architecturally-designed homes set on level land blocks offering spacious home and land packages.
  • 3,4 & 5 bedroom + study double storey homes.
  • All floor plans feature open plan living areas that will flow out onto generously sized, covered alfresco areas.
  • All stages completed in 2010.

Ivadale Lakes, Caloundra

Project Role: State Manger Client: Australand A $160 million development centered around three scenic lakes which, along with the established bushland surrounds, will provide a tranquil backdrop for family living. Ivadale Lakes leads the way in terms or environmental initiatives, open space, flora and fauna and recreation.Homes range in size from 176sqm to 216sqm.
  • Single storey design with varied floor plan layouts.
  • Equivalent to 40 football fields retained for natural parkland.
  • All built form stages completed 2010
